They Might Be Giants

I worked with They Might Be Giants across several projects, creating original animated music videos and later contributing to motion graphics for their live tour.

For “Only One Everything” from Here Come the 123s — the band’s Grammy Award-winning children’s album — and “My Brother the Ape” from Here Comes Science, I developed the visual concepts, created the storyboards, and animated the pieces from start to finish. I worked directly with John Flansburgh, who gave me a great deal of creative freedom to develop the ideas in my own way, with occasional direction and course correction along the way.

I also collaborated with Mixtape Club on They Might Be Giants’ 2011 tour graphics, contributing post production and compositing in Adobe After Effects for the live visual package.
