Here’s the latest project for the Dream Love event coming up on the 11th at the Meeker Street Market. Another nice unfolding process from this one. I got wicked sick in the middle of its creation which it made it an extra bit of a challenge but challenges are always a welcome experience in my book. It was funny how the original style wound up getting resurrected after I thought it was completely shot down during the first round of revisions. It just goes to show that you never really know how things will turn out. Enjoy!
Green Bus Tour and I were mentioned today in Our (and Your) RISD. It’s a blog that’s kept up by RISD’s President, John Maeda. I reached out to him yesterday and he was nice enough to give the project a little press. Thanks John! I wrote to him to see how GBT could work with RISD in the future. I graduated from RISD in 2006 and it’s exciting to have the opportunity to work with the school again. We are in the process of finding students who are interested in designing the interior of the bus as well as students who could help us with the videos that we are making. Below is Ted talk given by Maeda from 2007. Great thoughts on simplicity and complexity in design. Have a great weekend!
